Purple Heart Car Donation Program
Grant for Purple Heart Carts
The local MOPH Department of Ohio recently received a grant from the Purple Heart Service Foundation to purchase and donate a golf cart to the Dayton, Ohio VAMC. VAVS Representative Victor Cook informed the local members that the clinic was in need of new golf carts which are used to transport veterans and their families from the Parking Lot to the main entrance of the hospital. The cart is driven by a MOPH VAVS Volunteers.
