Carl A. Falkowski, Board Member and PNC of the MOPH 1964-1965). He was drafted into the army in 1943 and landed in Normandy June 1944 with the Fifth Division. He was hit by a shell fragment near Metz, and after recovering, rejoined his unit for the Battle of the Bulge. Carl served 30 years on the St. Paul Police Force and served as President of the Police Federation. He lived in Vadnais Heights, MN with his wife of 62 years Betty Jean. He passed away December 18th, 2010.
